Matthew Collinson is a contemporary Artist/Illustrator based in the Wellington Region, Aotearoa, New Zealand. Matthew’s works draw inspiration from rugged geological features found locally and abroad as well as natural elements uniquely found in Native Ecology. Recent works play on perspective, aiming to draw emotional responses by utilizing high contrast and sharp geometric shifts to emphasize or downplay the subject.
